Poly Butylene Adipate-Co-Terephthalate Uses

Poly butylene adipate-co-terephthalate (PBAT) is a biodegradable polymer synthesized from petrochemical resources. PBAT has a very high elongation at break, which makes PBAT one of the most promising alternatives to LDPE packaging films. However, the applicability of PBAT films is still limited by low strength. In this work, we used polyethylene glycol 600 (PEG-600) as a coating agent to modify the surface of calcium carbonate. A series of PBAT/CaCO3 composite films with different CaCO3 particle sizes. The effects of particle size and capping agent content of CaCO3 filler on the mechanical.

1.4-Butanediol ( BDO ) is used industrially as a solvent and in the manufacture of certain types of plastics, elastic fibers and polyurethanes. In organic chemistry, 1.4-butanediol is used in the synthesis of gamma-butyrolactone (GBL). In the presence of phosphoric acid and high temperatures, 1.4-Butanediol dehydrates into the important solvent tetrahydrofuran. At about 200°C, in the presence of a soluble ruthenium catalyst, the diol undergoes a dehydrogenation reaction to form butyrolactone.   Toluene Diisocyanate Introduction: Toluene diisocyanate ( TDI ) is a widely used chemical that belongs to the class of dopamine topological isocyanate linkers. It is usually a yellow to brown liquid with a less clear, colorless consistency. Applications: TDI can be used as a coupling agent in various applications such as polyurethane foam boards, coatings and sealants, etc. Toluene diisocyanate is mainly derived from 2,4- and 2,4-and 2,6-Two benzyl isocyanates. TDI can be transported and stored by dissolving in other organic solvents. However, this also increases the potential health and safety risks of TDI during production and use. If used incorrectly, TDI may cause irritation and damage to the respiratory system, eyes and skin. Therefore, take appropriate safety measures and safeguards when handling TDI.
